SGA Code of Laws

So, I was reading through the code of laws the other day, paying close attention to the guidelines set forth for UNA SGA's Freshman Forum, when I notice something odd. Under the committees regulations, it said that the service committee was supposed to due at least one fundraiser per semester. I thought to myself that it would be a good  idea to add a Finance Committee to the forum to assist the Vice President/Treasurer with the budget and fundraising, so that the service committee could focus on service projects. I told Hailey about it and she told me to write a proposal, and specifically state what the committee was supposed to do. So I did, thinking no one would take it seriously. Then one day at the Freshman Forum Issues table, it all of a sudden just worked it way in to the conversation, and that's when I pulled out my proposal and gave it to our advisors. Then we talked about in our meeting the next day, we all voted on it and so we gave it  to a senator to put it in bill format. Hopefully, the Senate will vote to pass the bill!
